GreaterChina Technology Group Ltd is pleased to announce the acquisition of 80% equity interests in the Guangdong Jianlibao Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was completed on 8 January 2003

The Guangdong Jianlibao Pharmaceutical Co. is a large-scale pharmaceutical products manufacturing company with area of around 300 hectares. The Pharmaceutical Company has obtained the pharmaceutical GMP certificate for its tablets and capsulation production lines and it has already established 15 distribution offices in major cities like Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. Currently, there are over twenty different kinds of pharmaceutical products available for use and under research and development.

About the Laboratory:

• First Laboratory in Hong Kong to set up ETTAN MALDI-TOF/Pro High throughput Mass Spectrometer. The laboratory also houses a MAGABACE DNA sequence analyzer.
  
  
• Create and correlate Genomic and Proteomic databases for Chinese Medicinal Fungi
  
  
• Conduct systematic study of protein-protein interactions in various biological systems
  
  
• Establishment of a portal for Chinese Medicinal Fungal databases of DNA and proteins.
  
  
• Identify novel Gene/protein sequences which may have therapeutic values for new drug development
